Family Skate

I have arranged to continue a family ice skating session for homeschoolers on Wednesdays at McFetridge Sports Center in Chicago. We have the ice all to ourselves. Please join us, if you like, and help spread the word to other homeschooling groups. Thanks! Any questions, e-mail Marita.
Sessions: Wednesdays, through June 9, 2010
Time: 11:00 – 11:45 am arrive 15 – 30 minutes early to allow time for putting on skates.

Ages: All ages are welcome to skate. For safety, no one may not be carried onto ice, including infants. There is a large lobby with benches for those not wishing to skate.
Admission: $9/family per session; pay at the counter
Skates: You may bring your own skates at no charge.Rentals are available at $3/person. CASH only.
Beginners: Push bars will be available. These are used in park district tot classes. They are designed for 3-6 yo’s and may be useful to older kids, too. To promote safety, please use them for learning purposes only.
