Open Gym/Swim and Science beginning Oct 5
Register now for a new session of Open Gym, Open Swim and Hands on Science (science age 7-12) in partnership with the Irving Park YMCA.
Who: all families, kids of all ages for swimming and open gym. Parents must be present.
When: Mondays beginning October 5 through December 7
Register at the Irving Park YMCA at 4251 West Irving Park Road

Cost: Y membership is $22 per month per child or $68 for a family membership. Please mention that you are joining to participate in the Northside Unschoolers Group activities for a waived one time sign up fee ($68)
Science: ages 7-12, 10:30am- 11:30am (cost $22 for semester) max. 15 students
Open Swim 1: all ages, 10:30am-12pm (see note below about parent participation )
Open Gym: all ages 11:00-2:00 Children must be members ($22 per month, per child). Parent must attend with children. If you are just attending the gym portion of the day, parent does not need to be a Y member. Eating permitted at tables outside of gym.
Open Swim 2: all ages 2:00-4:00
- note: children under 9 who can swim, parent must be on deck
- children unable to swim must be accompanied by parent in the water (parent must be member as well as child)
