Northsideside Unschoolers of Chicago

The Newcomers Meeting scheduled for today is canceled due to rain.  This doesn’t mean the regular park day is canceled, just the Newcomers part that starts an hour before.

Mothers’ Tea will resume in October. Please check the tea page for more info.

There will be a fall Spanish class for homeschoolers, provided by Language Stars. Details will be posted on the Spanish Activities page shortly, for those that are interested.
The time, day and location WILL be changing, so stay tuned.

After careful consideration (and a few minutes spent sweating in my backyard…), I think we should cancel the Family Picnic for Wed., August 2. According to Tribune Weather, the weather outlook is bad — it’ll either be 100 degrees or raining, neither of which are fun for picnics. We’ll try again next year!
